Thread, Viagra official launch in Brazil in early June. Viva Brazil!

To combat the growing black market problem, Brazil asked Pfizer this month to speed up its planned official launch of the drug there.

A representative from Pfizer's local branch said they were planning to start distribution to pharmacies and drugstores in early June despite reports of the deaths.

"Impotence is more common in people of an advanced age, who are generally carriers of other health problems that can have an influence on the cause of death,'' Valdair Pinto, medical director of Pfizer's Brazilian unit, told local financial daily Gazeta Mercantil.

Jerry, it will be interesting to read the facts surrounding these 6 deaths if and when these facts are released....My guess is that enough facts on this matter have already been gathered by responsible investigating officials, and that preliminary conclusions do not justify pulling Viagra from circulation. I agree with my fellow posters who stated that if evidence of direct Viagra culpability existed, the FDA and Pfizer would not hesitate to take Viagra off the market immediately.
