Silver Shirts (1930s US counterpart of the Brown Shirts -S.A.- in Germany). The SS-masterminded "Night of the Long Knives" put an end to the Socialist part of the Nazi Party and was backed both by the Reichswehr and German big industry (Krupp, Thyssen, IG Farben, etc.)
Most of the German companies were war-production oriented. // CA
