Yogi, thank you for the links. I read both articles and would like
to comment on the Indonesia story first. Excerpt:
As of Monday, all three of the area's high-tech shopping centers
remained closed, said Junaidi Aris, an analyst for market-research firm IDC Asia/Pacific Ltd. in Jakarta. Mr. Susanto estimates that equipment valued at $2 million was destroyed when his nearby warehouse was gutted. "It's all just dust now," he says.

A setback of a few months. I sincerely hope they had insurance.
This isn't going to kick Indonesia back into the stone age.

The China article says...
the government-run companies that represent China's heavyweight PC buyers went on tech diets in the first quarter. Those companies are waiting for the dust to settle around a sweeping restructuring of the government, including the merger of three separate ministries into one Ministry of Information Industry.<

Looks like demand delayed to me. I expect little positive
movement of semi stocks for the rest of the year anyway.
I sure hope investors panic when the WSJ print edition
hits the streets. Can you tell I kept some cash around
this time? <vbG>

Regards GM
