hi dave, (GET) so far (from my first week of trial), it's a great charting package. however, i would believe that it is important to have Metastock to go along with it. using GET solely, you will be missing alot of the important features in Metastock. so, in my view, if you're a beginner at TA, i would get metastock. equis.com (you can order it for a trial period, do it!) then get GET when you feel you want more precisioin.. tradingtech.com (ask for demo) hope it helps.
