Thank you, AJD for this helpful information. Obviously, I'm not an attorney of any kind, much less a specialized area such as this. I was relaying the time frame that the company had related to me....obviously, they were being optimistic.

I'm more familiar with the FCC and I know that they don't even try to do some things that they normally do because they are so understaffed.
And of course, the "attorney-factor" thing has to be considered as well. :)

In its March 27 q4/1997 fye report it stated the following:

"Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cymedix Lynx Corporation, the company also offers Cymedix Lynx, a secure, <<patent-pending>> medical communications product that makes use of the Internet to facilitate more cost-efficient patient care."

In its May 26 release regarding the marketing agreement it stated the following:

"Cymedix Lynx is the first completely secure, >>patented<< medical communications product that makes use of the Internet."

At least one of the above is inaccurate/misleading.
