Well, it doesnt dilute the common as the comparable shares for conversion are already in the number of outstanding shares for the common and are held in the company treasury. However, it does add to the number of free trading shares in the float, it changes that figure, rather. But hopefully, people will be holding as opposed to trading those shares and it takes away shorting ability.

However, you might want to ask someone more experienced than I, in case I am the only one to respond to your post.

For anyone who cares about
common / warrant arbitrage
read posts #247 & #872
..872 should read MIDL(bid)
minus MIDLW(ask) greater
than 0.50..

Dividend on MIDLP and who
gets it..the only date that matters
is the X-DIV date..which is the first day
the stock trades without the dividend...if
you buy @ 3:59 the day before X-Div date
you get the dividend..so far no X-Div date has
been set for MIDLP..

warrants are common equivalents and already
in the share count..excercising kills
the warrants,,provides capital to our
company and adds to the float of the
common...

Everybody do what you want ...I'm
killing as many warrants as I can...

The warrants are already factored into the fully dilluted outstanding shares, just as the MIDLP and the restricted insider shares.

For each warrant exercised the company gets $.50.

The common share received, in exchange for 1 warrant and $.50 will not be immediately sold (assuming warrant/common are aligned).

Why?? Either it will be an Arbitrager that has been shorting the common and will use the warrant to cover their short position or a mid-long term investor. Warrant holders that want to take a profit would sell the warrant, since in theory they would get the same amount of $$.
