In a way they are TC. If a short has to cover his margin/short, it will be required of him to cough up what the last quote was...so, 'marking' the tape serves a very real purpose...and yes, it being the same 300 shares is very relevant, moreso, it must be MM Hill-Thompson because of reasons I posted a week or so ago. TC: Why would they do it at all? The situation as it now stands is simple. Not trading. So, why are they trading shares at low prices? They must be trying to accomplish something. It seems unlikely that a shareholder would sell 300 shares for 6 cents, it's only 18 dollars. It is not a meaningful amount of money. If there were say 10,000 shares traded, I think it may be possible to say that someone decided 600 dollars is better than nothing. But 18 dollars? So, I think that one must look for another explanation. The scales in this example I think are tilted towards something "fishy" being conducted by the MM's. Do you agree or disagree? If disagree, why?
