Overall, this is a very good new thread:

Subject 21182

Several posts about Viagra black market, deaths in various countries, etc. No hillbilly talk, though ;)

Whipsaw, I enjoyed your observations regarding the VVUS thread, and agree it's useful for everyone to get out their measuring sticks once in a while.

My thread measuring stick has just two hash marks on it: functional and dysfunctional. Folks have to decide for themselves if a thread is healthy or not. One thing I have noticed, is that a functional thread is self-regulating. It may push the envelope occasionally for a variety of reasons... But, it always bangs itself back into a more neutral shape and continues to evolve. Every post is part of the formula, yours, mine, and the thousands before us on this thread.

Dysfunctional threads seem to get stuck over time in chronic negative behaviors that defy market activity and general consensus. I do not believe this description fits the VVUS thread. And, I hope we all keep our measuring sticks out to make enough right calls to keep it that way.

Good luck to you, and to VVUS,

Frostman
