to all: self commentary:

i hope everyone sees the power of using Charts for trading.. it's so "beautiful" to know that you're always out of the mkt when "danger arrives".. other people (non chart users), can only wonder and guess. but for us chart readers, we really have a clear feel of "danger/risk/rewards"

i was out of the mkt almost 4 weeks ago.. ie: i had 4 weeks of warning time.. whether we crash or not is not the question.. it's about whether you're trading in a risky enviornment.

just some thoughts.

Chris, when you put up the three oscillators, you see that both the 5,35 and the 10,70 are strong. From the "who's in control" tape, this signifies that this dip should be shallow, and in fact the 5,17 histogram is just going negative. Therefore, in my opinion, you use the short-term ellipse. But I'm not convinced that the ellipse is the best thing since sliced bread. It should be used in combination with other indicators.
