Thanks for the sharp eyes and wit. Now I've seen it all, January has very little revenue and beaucoup expenses?! Too bad this wasn't leap year. They could have piled it all into one day (Febuary 29th), blamed full moon and pointed out there was no comparable period last year or next.

I also liked the idea of >>Excite paid Netscape an up-front sum of $50 million and owes the company another $20 million....In exchange, Netscape guaranteed a certain quantity of traffic in order for Excite to earn its money back.<< Was this real money? Does that count? Is that like floating checks back and forth?

Aye, Lawrence, sharp eyes indeed. What's with the
financial press? This smacks of the liberal press
reporting on Bill and Monica. Jeesh--I'd try this
on the IRS if I thought I could stay out of jail.
