JG Obviously I don't give out scripts to people on nitrates but I can't deny someone meds just because they are a "heart" patient. That involves decision making not rule making. All my patients get a printout which states that some meds (with a list) combined with V may kill them. If there is any question they must call their "cardiologist". It's mostly a CYA routine. Viagra without nitrates appears to be a very safe drug. It works too so don't look for Titanic type disasters. Buy PFE.
