stephen,

It is good to hear from you. I still like Informix for the long term.
I haven't been on the boards because I have a much larger investment
in Cabletron. What I like about Cabletron is that they have so much
cash in the bank to keep them afloat in this tough market. One report says that they could survive 2 years without another order. Obviously, they are a much stronger company. I think the "merger" opportunity is much stronger with Cabletron. If Bay Networks goes at $40 as you have read, then Cabletron will go in the high 30's to 40's. The networkers are very valuable acquisition targets right now. Finally, I love the CEO/Founder Benson. I think he has much personal and monetary incentive to turn this company around.

You know how much I like Informix. I know Mr. F. is going to make it happen for all of us. I still like Informix because of Mr. F. and the focus that they are putting just on database.

Have you bought any CS stock? Take care!

Jeff
