Well make sure you hold your broker to what he told you.
No more need for concern.
I think all this havic is because they've all been explained so many times by so many people and worded differently each time, it just keeps getting more confusing, heck even i'm getting lost now.

Then Rav buy it by then and do not worry about it. If that is what they are telling you then you will have to raise cain. Now if the company goes by the DTC report and they realize the three day rule then I guess what they will do is use the DTC report at the close of third day after May 29, 1998.

Arcon has told me repeatly anyone with it in their account at the close of business will get the dividend and sir that is all there is to it.

PLEASE understand this is the one industry where incompetence can floushish to the max degree and still have a job.

I have said time and time again I am totally amazed at the number of brokers that are clueless. They just make money on commissions and do very very little research.

Me I will buy up to the business day close and not worry about it. I will have that security in my portfolio at the end of Friday's business day and I do expect a dividend for each share.
