That is a great quote. It's relative isn't it. If I am a daytrader in stocks, time and patience are practiced on the hour. If I am a long term investor, time and patience is measured in years. You have a pocketful of money and take it to your broker to invest it and he asks what is your goal? Huh? And I say, well, to make money on my money, right? He responds with an answer that is relative to time and patience--do you want your return now or in 10 years, for example? Sometimes the time and patience is needed just to understand the brokers recommendations.
