Scheduled release date of the Beta version of the product is August 1998.

From your quoted Press release. And so you believe that revenue begins in August for this product? If so, then it appears that CSHK has come up with the novel idea that they will charge for the Beta of software that is going to compete with software that is currently available for free. Good plan.

First, when you said "not yet commented on", I thought you meant something not yet discussed in a PR, and I'm sure others could reach that same conclusion.

Second, what the PR actually said is that the Catalyst product would be in Beta in August.
No software product goes from Beta to production that fast. And Beta products don't generate revenue.
