Dwight .. the dollar just dropped on Globex.

If the dollar had stayed steady then Fed action adding liquidity could have caused the market to bounce up in the afternoon.

But it didn't.

I estimate (based on current numbers, which could still change) ~-300 DJIA points, ~-40 Nasdaq points and ~-3 1/2 for MSFT.

Perhaps a rebound on Thursday?

dwight,

by the time you see something to panic the masses it is too late. who knows how low we go on this pullback. all i know is 1.7% earnings groth is pathetic in light of the multiples the market is trading at. IMHO we have a long ways to go down over the next couple years.
