Kingston Technology Signs Alpha Microsystems as Nationwide Supplier of Service and Support

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Kingston Technology today announced the signing of Alpha Microsystems (Nasdaq: ALMI - news) as Kingston's nationwide supplier of on-site service and technical support. Kingston is the first memory manufacturer to secure a nationwide service company to provide on-site service and
support for special instances supplementing Kingston's in- house technical support department.

''Working with Alpha Microsystems' Services Operation is an excellent way to enhance Kingston's service offering. It underscores our standing behind our product warranty,'' said Mike Sager, vice president, Customer Service, Kingston. ''Although many times we are able to address a customer concern with our in-house tech support, in certain cases, having a specialist from Alpha Micro on the scene would handle a problem more efficiently. The relationship we are creating with Alpha Microsystems further demonstrates Kingston's commitment to supporting our customers,'' added Sager.

''This agreement with Kingston confirms Alpha Microsystems' dedication to OEM partnerships,'' said Randy Parks, Vice President of Services for Alpha Microsystems. ''Kingston is a leading memory products manufacturer and we look forward to providing their customers with the highest level of service offerings.''

Effective immediately, this new on-site service will be provided by Alpha Microsystems on a case by case basis following the determination by Kingston that a situation is best solved by dispatching an Alpha Microsystems' technician to the customer's site. Alpha Microsystems technicians are highly trained and are located in more than 60 field offices throughout the US and Canada.

All Kingston memory products are 100% tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and free technical support.
