Panther Resources Announces Amendment to Purchase Agreement Signed
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1998--
Symbol: PTHR Exchange: NASD OTC BB Industry: Mining Subject: New
agreement signed
Gordon Muir, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Panther Resources Ltd.
announces that the Company has completed the new agreement with Mr.
Jaimie Guinea of Minera Humaya.
The old agreement provided for the following payments:
On May 28th, 1998 - $750,000
On August 28th, 1998 - $750,000
On November 28th, 1998 - $4,750,000
On February 28th, 1999 - $1,750,000
On May 28th, 1999 - $1,750,000
On August 28th, 1999 - $1,750,000
On November 28th, 1999 - $1,750,000
Under the new agreement, the payment terms have been amended as
follows:
On November 30th, 1998 - $300,000
On May 30th, 1999 - $500,000
On November 30th, 1999 - $750,000
On May 30th, 2000 - $12,000,000
In addition, Panther Resources Ltd. will assume management and
administrative control of La Verde mining and the milling operations
effective immediately. The revenues from the mill will be divided
according to the original agreement.

The last we heard from the company was that everything is on track for the
final closing as announced in the last press release ( date given was June
4,1998). We look at the price here as a bottom for the stock and providing
all the things come into play as announced. Investors are waiting for this
one to put the finishing touches to a long awaited upward trend. We believe
that if the closing of the financing is announced as per the last press
release, this stock could move up very quickly.
