Here's something new on Duckman courtesy of ZuluIsland on the ESVS Yahoo thread): B'ground info on Duckman... ZuluIsland May 26 1998 9:46PM EDT I read (from the Wit Capital Web site) some interesting facts about Duckman I did not know before, & perhaps info stated more clearly. I found the info in # 4 especially provocative: 1. ESVS acquired LapTop Solutions from Kenneth Duckman in 9/30/92. 2. Duckman then became the company President, CEO, Director of the Co., & its controlling stockholder. 3. In March '95 LapTop became a wholly owned sub. 2 months later, they acquired NB Engineering. (NB Engineering provides multimedia services via its NB Digital Solutions sub.) 4. These multimedia services "...include specialized digital video services to the coprorate and entertainment markets...for the entertainment industry, the Company 'format authors' (premaster film, video and interactive multimedia applications) its customers' films, using the compression standard known as Digital Versatile Disk ('DVD-VIDEO')...allows a full length motion picture to be stored on a 5.25" optical disc at boardcast quality video...It is the newest industry standard for home delivery of full length digitized motion pictures. The Company format authored its first full-lenth movies in 1997." ÿ
