Lets try and get an anectodal (sp?) of what to expect for COMS :

1) When are earnings due - June 24?

2) Typically with COMS, or techs in general, how long before the earnings announcements will whisper numbers or warnings happen?

3) From investing experience what is your scenerio re: earnings with 3Com that will play out

Good Investing, MArk

...but there is nothing to keep MM's, shorts or anyone else from pushing COMS down to the 20-22 range or lower if they can find an excuse.

yes there is one thing, low volume, as you notice today coms is back to about normal volume and we finish up 7/16 on 6.6 million shares. funds and institutions who own this stock will push the price up as no warning is expected. they have the cash, and the volume which pushed coms down to 27, was minimal.

<< Fundamentals have not changed in the last few weeks, but there is nothing to keep MM's, shorts or anyone else from pushing COMS down to the 20-22 range or lower if they can find an excuse >>

That's it blame the MM's for COMS problems.

<< When I mention the similiarity of COMS to CUBE a few weeks ago no one could believe it could happen to COMS. Just look at all the tech stocks, PAIR, COMS, CUBE, SEG, AMD, INTC...and the list goes on. All down 20% or more. >>

Mostly loser stocks with lots of problems. Seems logical that they would be down 20%.

<< NSCP beat the street by 10 cents and is down today >>

They pulled a COMS like accounting trick out of their hats and the street didn't go for it.
