Well, I had originally bought a X2 modem for work... and to tell you the truth, this new one isnt any faster than the old one... I connect to IBM.net and its usually (80%) of the time between 46-50K.. when I am downloading files, I usually transfer at about 4-5 kbytes per second.. I believe I used to get about 3 or so with my 28.8 .. I cannot connect to my other local ISP.. (of course they are thick rockwell heads), so I havent been able to test the V90 yet... Am looking to change from IBM.net because 1) they STILL have not offered a home page space & 2) limited pricing plan... Does anyone else have a good ISP they can recommend ???? Thanks Druggist
