the magnets are derived from a combination of factors. First I use three seperate indicators. when they all cross a buy signal within one week (or so) of one another then I take the next day the stock OHLC are above a 13 day ma. Multiply the low for that day by 2 and I have a magnet.

Before you ask, "how does it work?" I will answer. I don't know how, I just know from the time I have been using them they are very accurate and many times more powerful than other TA indicators. They work as areas of attraction. If they are broken to the downside they will become stronger. If they are broken to the upside they become weaker. They must be tested in order to dissolve their strength. If they get blown through then the stock runs up it is relatively certain the stock will come back to test the magnet again in the future.
