With LU's new product suite why would they have any interest in buying ASND. Sounds like direct competition instead - double whammy? Steve

Ask Pat Mudge if NN gets a Supercomm boost, but it has been hit the most so far. My guess is that we'll have uncertainty for another week --- two steps forward, 1 1/2 back --- and then rally leading up to Supercomm on June 7. We could see some strength as early as July 1 with ATM Year '98. Of course, I'm only referring to networkers and, once again, I'm only guessing. Check out CIEN and AFCI. Both up considerably. Clearly, some big players know fiber's a good place to be. And, somewhere down the chain, the same factor's driving the fiber optic market are driving ATM. Just my take. And a novice one at that. Pat
