I don't know about Texas,

But when I'm in upstate New York or in Canada 157...heck, 257...miles is a breeze.

But that's cuz there is nothing between point A and point B except a buncha deer, trees, and other useless stuff. Well, useless if your bladder is not full. Not so many trees in Jersey.

Here in NJ I do not need to travel to find something to do. A quick hop to NY and I can buy burritos and drugs, over to Newark and there are handguns and assault pistols. Nearby are card games, golf courses, you name it.

For comic relief I just wait for the News Channels to tell me what Mayor Guiliani said today at a press conference in NYC.

The Meadowlands, Belmont, and a few others are not far.

I imagine driving across Texas beats parts of New York. I spent a week traveling from Saratoga through the Adirondacks on my way to Canada one day. The people up there are still using Indian Trails, I think.

And those Indians must have been messin' with the white settlers.

Hi Nemer,..Re:<<Idle Chatter>>

More idle chatter, I shorted the Sept. Bond via July 121 puts at 47 thinking that after 2 days of runup and almost 2 whole points (120^9-121^26) or 1.5 points, might be good place for profit taking. Plus some treasury supply coming to market this week.

No need to answer. Bonds are slow and easy. Lets one do yardwork while waiting for the selloff!<ggg>

Best,

Lee
