Near Term Earnings Play: JDEC

J.D. Edwards (JDEC) reports tomorrow after the bell.... the street is looking for .10 cents... I'm hearing better than that....

Alex Brown put a "buy" rating on the stock May 22....

Anything under 35 is a deal.

The risk: numbers miss... the stock falls to 30...

The reward: JDEC beats estimates and tests 52 week high (42)

You make the call.... I just come up with the ideas!

Tech Master

P.S. This play could go to hell in a handbasket if the NAZ continues to tank.... but.... its only money.... ;)

Nice reversal close in the markets today.

After today's fire sale in stocks, I look for the next few days to see a short covering rally. If that comes off fairly well, then stocks will hit former highs in the coming weeks.

Goldman Sachs issues a BUY on ORCL....

They cite strong incumbent position as cornerstone of company's long term attractiveness....

I hate when that happens <ggg>
