They could default on those bonds...I have heard they've done it before at lower levels.

I think Templeton is offering one, but it's a Luxemburg SICAV, so U.S. investors may not be able to buy it. I have no details, though. In bonds and bond funds, often times you have to invest in institutional sizes.

There are a couple of Eurobonds, for example Russian Federation with 10% coupon (it's a US Dollar bond) , maturing in 2007. There also are some corporates like Tatneft and Unexim Bank, etc.
