More National Discount Broker info: 1) They do not have an 800 # for people outside the US. 2) In order to open a NDB account, you must have a US address so they can mail your material and confirmations. 3) They do not require US citizenship, just US address (See 2). 4) Same side buys are one commission all day long except for NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX where it's commission plus .01 per share over 5000 shares. 5) Trade execution has been as fast as any I've seen. 6) I'm on the website daily and have only not been able to log in twice. Tried again in two minutes with no problem. 7) Website has auto-timeout of 10 minutes. So if your PC crashes, you'll have to wait 10 minutes because you will technically still be logged in (can only log in once). Hope this helps.
