Bill, since we talked I have traded in and out of CMGI twice. Currently I hold a covered position. Today CMGI tested and reversed above its 50-day ema, the first bounce is usually the strongest.

Small cap IPO stocks like CMGI will not weather a market meltdown, so if the overall market is of concern you may want to stay on the sidelines. Internet stocks are peculiar entities ... among the dozen or so internet stocks a few will emerge and become market bellweathers, just as CSCO seemed like a high-flier in '92 when the public barely knew what a router was and could not comprehend the importance of connectivity. At the moment people want to short the hell out of internet stocks since they have no earnings to speak of ... on the other hand, they will not suffer earnings jitters or the Asian flu. FWIW, the internet sector was one that the blocks bought during today's program buys. No telling when they will dump.
