LOL! Right, maybe 0.001 % of the total population knows what is going on; and is worried enough. This will change the coming 20 months drastically: Just take a simple example: Gary North was seen as absolutely 'fringe' / 'lunatic' / 'survalist nutcase' and so on (not by me; although I do not share many of his convictions. But that is not the point here). Only in recent weeks we are starting to quotes of him; links to his website on e.g. NY Times!, interview by ABC etc. Public opinion is definitely 'on the move' now. John (the percentage above could be 0.01% or 0.0001 %; this amount is presented just to make clear where we are at this moment).
