Hey Papillon, I hereby grant you a cyber Indian green card. You have spent 2 years in india, you deserve it. Please desist from revealing India's dirty secrets like professors who do not show up etc.<g>
Dear thread:
Most visitors to this thread who are not of Indian origin, are generally friends of India, and I do not think any purpose is served flaming them. And if you do, they are unfortunately smart enough to point out some disturbing truths about India which takes away from any image building/ spin control that we all can do.

Ramesh.

Papillon:

Since your topic of discussion right from the beginning has been how India has remained poor, let me ask you a question:

According to an American professor History at Harvard, the West became rich by learning to kill others. He further elaborates how they learned the power of dynamite from China and perfected the art of killing. Do you agree with this historical observation?

If you agree with what I consider to be a historical fact, I will respond to your questions.
