Petz - Re: K6-2-266......$185.(139)...$115 K6-2-300......$281.(179)...$147 The K6-2 pricing - including your PriceWatch numbers - indicates that AMD is selling the K6-2 at GREATLY REDUCED PRICES from their announced launch prices! The implication here is that AMD is seeing a much lower demand for the -to-be-introduced-K6-2 and effectively is discounting the price by a wide margin PRIOR to tomorrow's launch. This appears to be a poor reflection on the K6-2 reception that the industry is giving it. Since it is 20% larger than the K6, the margins on this chip seem to be already in the "questionable" range.
