DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1998--To help find the nation's best entrepreneurs, 31
finalists for the Rocky Mountain Region's Entrepreneur Of The Year awards have been selected, it
was announced Monday by Jo Marie Dancik, Office Managing Partner in the Denver office of Ernst
& Young LLP.

The EOY program was founded in 1986 by professional-services firm Ernst & Young LLP, and is
produced by the firm. National co-sponsors include USA Today, the Nasdaq Stock Market, the
Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the Entrepreneur Of The Year Institute.

The awards are sponsored locally by The Citibank Private Bank, The Denver Business Journal,

Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipients and categories will be announced at a banquet on June
11. These winners are then eligible to become the National Entrepreneur Of The Year, who will be
selected by a distinguished national judging panel. National finalists from the Rocky Mountain region
have included Kenneth M. Tuchman, Teletech; Jirka Rysavy, Corporate Express; and Mo Siegel,
Celestial Seasonings.

At a black-tie gala banquet in Palm Springs, Calif., November 12-15, finalists and national
Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipients will be announced and celebrated by more than 1,700
attendees as part of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Institute International
Conference.

Also, the National Entrepreneur Of The Year winners will be featured in USA Today and on
national television.

The regional finalists and award recipients were selected by an independent panel of judges,
