BTW you are right about not being able to have it all. The responsibility of mothering cannot be compromised. When it is something is lost forever.
You know there are grocery stores now that even have nurseries, just drop your kids off, and have a coffe cooler while you shop,(sort of like a hat check) what a disgrace. Some women can't even food shop and babysit(their own children) at the same time? More like they just don't care to.And now they don't have to. "Quality time", a bunch of jargon that serves only to excuse their consciences.

Tom,

<<One simple answer is that NOW claimed that women could have it all, job, family, you name it. Well, history is proving them wrong.>>

Why cant a women have it all? In America everyone should be entitled to strive for any dream they can imagine, as long as its legal.

I am not trying to be argumentative, but a women is entitled to as much as a man is. I guess I am a little sensitive on the subject as my father died very young, and my mother was a single mother, mys sister is a single mother, and my wife and I are raising two young daughters.

I certainly feel that my daughters have the right to pursue whatever dreams they wish. I know many women that are very successfully combining careers with motherhood. If that is what they wish and they have the ability to handle it, why not?
