I agree it seems very strange that one would want to trash a stock in which you apparently own a stake unless one hopes to buy at a lower level.there have been a lot of strange things go on with mink over the last 2-3years so you never really know whats going on,however it is really very close to its all time lows so the downside risk is clearly very small as compared to when it was 4$ plus and one of the darlings of this thread and prodigy before si
its clearly a tough time to be investing in vse stocks and many of them seem to be dead or on life support however mink with results coming out soon and presumably doing more drilling in mali associated with abig quality company like ashton would seem to have better prospects than the vast majority of the stocks featured on this bb who are basically in a survival mode and not doing any drillling or anything else .if one compares mink for example with ashton of canada they would appear to be at least at a similar stage as ashton of canada with i think probably better prospects of finding a pipe with big diamonds and yet look at the difference in value between the two companies.minks market value must now be less than 5 million us which doesnt seem to be excessive .time will tell of course .orly sure seems to excite a lot of emotions amongst people .one thing that is quite apparent it is very difficult to develope a diamond play ,it takes a lot longer than anyone would imagine ,however as far as i can tell the basic message and dream of a big diamond find in mali is still intact as far as i can tell arh

Ashton is in the Mink office today for the gen meeting. They have results from one of the drill cores and we should be hearing something soon. They also have 6 more in process. Mink has ordered more gold mining equipment and are waiting for it to arrive.

<< I have never heard of the strategy, buy a stock then thrash it publicly? >>

Hello gekko... Is this an open invitation for Roseann (better known as the cyberbitch) to come back? S/he still has a full basement of T-shirts with Orly's pretty face in the front... a leftover from her ole good "pump and dump" days on the ole Mink thread on the Prodigy's "Money Talk" BB a couple of years back. S/he could turn around the price of this stock in a heart beat... she's only a home-grown, but very talented "pumpster". The ole George Chelekis could learn a few tricks from her. :-)
