The BIG Blue Chips continue to hold up a market that is loosing its grip.

DOW is down 3.5% from its high.
NASDAQ is down 7.8% from its high.
S&P is down 3.6% from its high.
Russell 2000 was down 1.06% today.
Wilshire 5000 was down 1.47% today.
S&P 600 small cap was down 1.36% today.
S&P Mid Cap 400 was down .79% today.

This market looks long in the tooth to me. With high P/Es and
a slowing in revenue and earnings growth for many companies this little blip today is not enough to convince me that we have turned the corner.

Smart money is moving to the stronger blue chips but how long will that last at these high P/Es. The slightest bad news and there goes the market.

DELL is in good shape but looks like it will be very volatile.

MSFT, CSCO and DELL among a few other saved the NASDAQ today.

Still bearish on the market as a whole for now.
