Vector M12 Sports Car Competes at Nevada Grand Prix BusinessWire, Wednesday, April 29, 1998 at 11:38 JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1998--Vector Aeromotive Corp. (Nasdaq/OTC/BB:VCAR), designer, manufacturer and distributor of superexotic sports cars, participated in the Toshiba Nevada Grand Prix this past weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Turning in a lap time of 1 minute 23 seconds during a qualifying session with a special modified version of the Vector M12 supercar, this time compares to the 1 minute 20 seconds posted by the GTII Class leader. "Our fastest lap time was completed by Vector driver Dorsey Schroeder," reported Timothy Enright, president of Vector. "This event was good exposure for him, and gave our entire team valued experience that we will use to refine our program for future venues." Vector's next outing is scheduled for Road Atlanta (Georgia) on June 20-21. Vector's M12 supercar was a popular participant last March at Sebring International Raceway by American Spirit Racing, owner of a special race-track version of the Vector M12. American Dream International Ltd., majority shareholder of Vector Aeromotive, is in the process of developing alliances with additional lifestyle-product companies that will serve to complement Vector's exclusive, limited-production automotive product.
