"I am curious though as to whether you would classify them as being in the scientific/medical category or the financial/stock category. "

When you are a publicly traded company they become one in the same.. I keep coming back to one statement made which as I remember it went somthing like this... "We are doing everything we can not to be the next ENMD."

HAHA Who is he kidding?? When his family stands to be enriched sooo much from exactly that... I don't believe many people are that altruistic except maybe the extrememly rich who have been recently diagnosed as terminal........... Even then they are semi pathetic. I.E. A local example would be the Amway founders in GR... You ought to see how they are giving their money away to philanthropic pursuits as their health deteriorates.. (not to mention putting their name on every building in the city of Grand Rapids, MI...

>>>Since you know why the stock ran up, would let the rest of us know too?<<<

It was a slow day, and the daytraders started buying on the release, which caused the momentum traders to pile on. It was no coincidence that it ran to 21 shortly after being mentioned by Joe K. on CNBC. This happens regularly, and my niche is to come in behind them and short, because the gains almost always retrace, at least with companies that are losing money.

>>>And why it is irrelevant where the hype originated as well? A lot
of people on the Yahoo thread, for example, are blaming Dr. G and most see this as some kind of conspiracy that they feel compelled to unmask.<<<

You're right, if it was company generated it would look bad for the company. I probably shouldn't have said irrelevant.

>>>The thread is not the best place to get information about the company.<<<

It can be adequate for that purpose, but it is great for getting a read on the psychology of those who have positions, and those who are thinking of it.

>>>As to the rest of it regarding your impressions and opinion on the prospects and the serious red flags, you are certainly welcome to them because that's what makes a market. I am curious though as to whether you would classify them as being in the scientific/medical category or the financial/stock category. <<<

Financial/stock category. I don't pretend to be any kind of biotech expert. I don't like CEOs who have failed companies in their pasts, or previous products that had grandiose claims but failed in the end.
