Over 60 Channel Partners Participate in TSI Software's 1998
Alliance Conference

Executives From SAP, IBM , Oracle, Netscape Describe Use of TSI's Mercator to Integrate
Enterprise Applications With Their Products

WILTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998-- TSI International Software Ltd., (NASDAQ: TSFW -
news), a leading provider of off-the-shelf solutions for integrating enterprise applications, attracted a record number of
channel partners to its annual Alliance Conference in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Over 140 people, representing
over 60 partner organizations, participated in the event. Participants included both resellers of TSI's Mercator(R)
application integration software and companies who have embedded Mercator within their offerings. Attendance at this
year's event was more than triple the number at TSI's first Alliance Conference in 1997.

Highlighting this year's conference were presentations by executives from industry-leading organizations who are
implementing advanced solutions for enterprise application integration using TSI's technology. Among those presenting
were representatives from IBM who described the key role Mercator is playing in conjunction with MQSeries as part
of multiple IBM initiatives including the integration of Retail Store Solutions point-of-sale systems with back office
applications, and the integration of legacy applications with SAP R/3 as part of IBM's internal global rollout of R/3.

Rick Pitts, Director of SAP's Complementary Software Program, outlined SAP's Business Framework strategy and
the role TSI's Mercator is playing in helping customers speed the time, cost and effort of R/3 implementation. Keynote
presentations were delivered by Nick Gall, Vice President of META Group; Rob Drew, MQSeries Architect with
IBM; and Rob Fuggetta, an executive with The Regis McKenna Company. A total of 14 Alliance partners gave
presentations at the conference including Compaq, HBOC, Hewlett-Packard, Logility, Netscape, and Oracle.

''This past year we significantly expanded our worldwide market reach with the rapid addition of third-party channel
partners who distribute our products,'' stated Connie Galley, president and CEO of TSI Software. ''The number of
partners at this year's event, the strength of their combined sales forces, and the excitement they generated reflect the
high level of energy within the application integration market and the strong value our technology brings to the solutions
our partners deliver. The ability to embed Mercator's data transformation capabilities within our partner's offerings
gives them real competitive advantage. This, in combination with opportunities for re-selling our branded products,
makes our third-party channel one of the fastest growing segments of our business.''

The TSI Alliance Conference provides a forum for TSI's channel partners to be briefed on TSI's latest developments,
learn how TSI's technology is being used for competitive advantage by other software and services organizations, and
hear from industry experts on critical topics related to integrating enterprise applications. Participants include systems
and technology integrators, value-added resellers, application software partners, and OEM software providers.
