Tom, my understanding is that that there are a lot of cigar bars in California, but that they circumvent the non-smoking workplace by being private clubs. Perhaps someone else could answer this question better, since now that I think about it, employees of a private club would seem to still be covered by general workplace law. In any event, are you are aware of the recent study that shows that cigar smoking is really a serious health hazard, not a harmless and entertaining diversion?
