Kashmir-Nobody gives a hoot. Sankar: I believe it is a waste of time trying to elicit sympathy or help from overseas on the Kashmir issue as you know Pakistan has been trying it for years in the UN and other world forums. Since Kashmir is not a strategic point for anybody except for India,Pakistan,the Arabs and possibly the Chinese,trying to get others [particulary the West] involved will be a sheer waste of time. I belive only India and Pakistan can resolve the issue preferably by negotiation or by force period.As for the rest of them they don't give a hoot about it. PS: sadly the people living in Kashmir can only sit and watch,either that or they can try and get out of dodge,I think.
