<<< Hardly a convincing rally IMO. >>>

I tend to agree. The rally after 2 pm seemed to be short covering and lacked convincing buying strength.

Facing evermore declines in earnings, the fundamentals and TA seem to indicate a broad top has been reached in the past 60 days. And the net "rally" was hardly convincing, unless the market really was fooled by the NSCP reporting period changes.

When even William is in bonds, it takes a lot of hubris to go long the "net". I have to give credit where credit is due, William put my short YHOO money in his pocket a month or two ago and now he won't give it back by staying long.

A very admirable feat; not that I'm pleased.

Breadth on Nasdaq was 1205 adv. to 3363 dec., so a very poor showing there also!
