Rick, there is no specific reason not to use an ISDN line, the problem is, there is not a very compelling reason to install ISDN, at this time, either. If you already have one installed then great.

ADSL and Cable modems are providing much more through put for the loot, so a lot of guys are looking to that now.

That's my take on it anyway, what do other traders think about it?

I think you just don't need the bandwidth that an ISDN provides. I had to switch to ISDN because of reliability problems with my local phone co's analog lines. They said they would not guarantee data reliability with the analog, and I had to go to digital ISDN to get the reliability I required. So, I switched and have been happy since. I suggest you try evaluate your local phone co's analog line before upgrading. If you get consistent solid connections without disconnects, then I see no reason to spend the $ on ISDN.
