PAT, Note this is what we call "stall-ware". They're not even expecting product availability until 99. LU knows they're in trouble in the IP race and since they don't have a product rather than risk letting the market get away they stall with a promise of new products. I can tell you from experience that there is no way LU will make it by Q199. They'll be late because projects slip. Given LU's layer 3 experience I have no doubt that they will run into problems. This LU annoucement was long on promises but no where on delivery. Just reinforces that multiservice on IP is the rage and this will help companies that are delivering it today such as ASND and CSCO.
