The best thing that the free software movement can do is to take all
of Microsoft's bread-winner software and simply "reverse-innovate" it
feature by feature. Why try to be original? It just doesn't pay to
innovate anymore unless you can afford to fight the wolf-pack of
Microsoft lawyers.

Any bets on how many people would rather have a free Windows95 clone and save $89? It would be interesting to see how the Microsoft business model could handle a free OS any better than Netscape could handle a free browser.
