I have considered investing in QWST over the past six months or so but never pulled the trigger. Just read an article in my local paper (Tucson, AZ) that might have convinced me to finally dive in. As I am new to the thread and have not read many postings this information might already have been mentioned. At any rate, US West and QWST have recently offered a combined local and long distance ($.10 per minute) service in AZ. The article in the newspaper indicated that 100,000 people have signed up in the first 20 days!!! This seems like a very large amount to me. Thought I would pass on what I read...hope it helps.
