Y., Holding my breath for an Intel pre-announcement. IDC reported that Asia/Pacific unit PC sales were down year over year, although total worldwide units were up 14% in Q1. Coupled with the seasonal weakness of Q2 and AMD doing well at retail, there is a possibility Intel will warn. One mitigating factor will be the introduction of Xeon in June which is priced at $4,500, $2,800, and $1,100. Whether or not this occurs, I will be adding to my long position in several weeks after most bad news has passed. Like anyone cares. :-) Bob References: idc.com news.com
