OK...sshhhh....No one spread the word...sorry.....lol, hey I got excited. I really don't care which way to ride, as long as it's up! I have all the time in the world, it's in my long-term, but after the excitement a couple of weeks ago, which was alot of fun, I guess I wouldn't have minded it to happen again. GLCP will shine at its true value in the long run, no matter what happens this week or next week. And personally, spreading the word about a press release is not hype IMHO.
Anyway, good luck to all and hey..... lighten up a little ;-)

GLCP Long!

Recap of the press release:

The 35mn shares issued for the all stock purchase of Check Central is restricted. It represents ~45% of the total issued & outstanding...this means ~78mn are now issued & outstanding of the 100mn authorized.

Purchase price of Check Central was $4.55mn using .13 per share valuation. This fell in the middle to upper end of the projected $3.5mn to $5.0mn.

Process to use the machines does not allow for first time users to gain immediate access of funds. This is good as this will help deter potential fraud. Fraud can eat up to 5 to 6% of checks processed. The usual is around 3%.

Once authorization is given (Application approved and ID card mailed to customer), a customer can cash a check and obtain immediate funds. You cannot do this at a banking institution. Banks do not release funds on a check deposited immediately. It can range from 24 hours to 5 business days!

Not having a bank account helps to avoid banking fees such as:
Low balance fees, monthly maintenance fees, ATM transaction fees. Additionally, no minimum balance is required.

Expected fee generation for established kiosks is $2,000 per machine per month. The company anticipates contracting for 100 locations for the initial launch. This translates into $200,000 in generated fees per month or $2.4mn per year.

The cash generated from the Check Central division of Greenland should help pay the way for the AirLink system.

Normally I would agree with you IF the company in question was doing nothing but hyping. In this case I see GLCP as a relatively quiet company and so it is important to share announcements but equally important not to make any wild predictions or appear to try and lure investors into the stock. Personally I tell several fellow investors whenever news of this nature is released and I have always received positive feedback. The intelligent investor will not take my word, or any other investors word, on a stock...but in the same breath they do like knowing when news is released.

I fully agree with you regarding the price, a strong steady move upward is much preferred to a spike followed by the unknown (usually a bounce.) I would like to see a nice "bump" upward this morning in price and volume...and then a steadily moving base (upward of course) to support the price at rising levels.

Like you ... this is just my humble opinion.

I'm satisfied to build a garage right now...the palace can wait a little longer.

T.R.

P.S. I didn't see any reason you should have to feel compelled to explain your opinion (i.e. paying your fee) we all express them here and you have every right as well. I don't see it as an attempt to influence investors..just expressing your opinion (I hope you're right!)
