Hey, whats a day or two. Anticipation is good for us too. Only two days remaining in month so my guess is within 48 hours. Anyone with a clue should know something is up soon with this company even if noone predicts it. JC is to busy not to produce something positive.

"THERE IS STILL BIG NEWS COMING IMMINENTLY, BUT WE MISTIMED IT" This is from mackers last post. I find myself dissecting this very easily: BIG NEWS - would you want to be out when this happens? IMMINENTLY - does this mean SOON or does it mean SOON? MISTIMED - why not surprise the MM's and REWARD THOSE LONG SO, NOTHING HAS CHANGED EXCEPT THE DATE. BIG NEWS USUALLY MEANS lots of details that have to be taken care of. which means delay's are not unusual. JC, if it is REALLY GOOD, I give you permission to take your SWEET TIME... ps- don't the MM's have to cover by months end??

macker and Byron,

you two seem to have miscalculated the allegiance of this crew! Nobody's upset or jumping ship or talking about how they were misled because there was no news today. How many rocket countdowns have been momentarily halted due to poor or questionable weather conditions or irregular meter readings or computer glitches? From everyone's perspective who bothered to post, it seemed today was a helluva day, a wonderful warm up--and most of the crew would have missed it, would have been totally ignorant of even the existence of this starship, and would have missed the brilliant blast-off to come, if it weren't for all that you two have contributed.

Countdown delayed. Problem being tracked. Once problem solved: Restart the countdown.

You Da Men!

Remember the last time the estimated release of news was missed and there were harsh words exchanged. The thread became stronger because of it. It seems that it may have happened again so as long as the fundamentals haven't changed we need to be patient and let DGIV do their job. DGIV management should determine when it is appropriate to issue a press release. IMO Byron and Macker cleared up any misconceptions here so lets move on to infinity.

Response to Macker's post below
---------------------------------

im gonna comment on this one time only:

we will tell you when we have info and tell you when there is none, but in this case
THERE IS STILL BIG NEWS COMING IMMINENTLY, BUT WE
MISTIMED IT, if somebody wants to shoot us for it so be it. the news that is
coming or its importance hasnt changed, we just missed the timing by a little bit,
when deals of this magnitude are closing, the timing changes, we may have been a
little irresponsible(real excited) and tried to time it too closely. its gonna happen
soon.

if anybody wants to jump ship go ahead, but nothing has changed except a small
amount of timing. sorry folks.

macker

ps. im as much to blame as anyone, so heap the insults my way,

pss. im still with you commander Glenn

Macker,
I am underwhelmed with lack of news. The sun is about to rise. Today is just another day. And yesterday is just that. Jimmy has always delivered as have we.If I had to worry that my investment's quality depended on a press release then I really would be concerned..
Warm Regards,
Scottoo

Well macker, we weren't ready anyway...

We still needed to retrieve those detonators. And now that I know where they've been, we have to get them cleaned up... really cleaned up. <g>

Any volunteers for the job? No?

Well, I guess if you've raised little ones, this shouldn't be any big deal. Yuk! :-(

Macker,

I had to leave yesterday and got back too late to read. Sir, I say to you right now that combat Veterans do not follow someone very easily, that is particularly true with Vietnam Vets. You, Byron, etc, have never lead us wrong or given bad advice for as long as I have been following and you have "EARNED" my respect and loyalty. I have only talked to 3 of the guy's this morning as I am leaving for Salt Lake City to meet with them, but they say as well as I, "Sir, you are at the head of this platoon and we will follow you to financial glory!!!!!!"

Will not be on the boards until Sunday, One good point about that, I do not have to be watching every tick, a bad point, will probably come back to 1,000 posts to catch up on.

Take Care Family

ROCKETMAN'S ROCKETRY LESSON
Rockets are launched in launch "windows" lasting from a few minutes to several hours. Everything has to be "green" for the launch to take place, the rocket itself, the tracking radars, the telemetry sites, the crews up and down the range, safety, etc. If any one of those goes down, the launch is scrubbed and readied for the next window, which might be the next day, next week, or whatever. The worst thing you can do is launch a rocket prematurely and risk something going wrong.

Many years ago (don't ask me how many) I was a young, studly, rocketeer launching a rocket from a West Coast launch pad into the South Pacific. Knowing a bit about launch delays, I was well prepared for a nice 6 months of serious West Coast laid back sunning and funning (it was a lot more fun back then, don't ask me for details). The crews that had preceded me had been there for 6 months of aborted launch after aborted launch, until they finally launched their rockets.

You guessed it, we had the unfortunate luck of getting a "go" on everything on our first try, and we launched the next day, not giving me even time for a California tan.

So the lesson here is, if our rocket launch did not occur on schedule, just lay back and have fun thinking about what this baby is going to look like when it lifts off. Otherwise you would not even have time for a nice tan.

Remember how difficult it is to launch into a precise launch window even when you know the schedule. And we don't even have the schedule, we are just guessing.

All we know is that this is one humongous powerful rocket!!
