I didn't even look that far back but once I did, I'd say, Yep, right again Juanita! May of '97's pattern does look a lot like what we've have going on here, and really, January of this year is just a mini-version of that. Does anyone on the thread know why there was the big run-up last May? What was the "trigger"?

I personally would prefer a more modest time frame for a run-up though. Too much too fast will lead to instability. I would like to keep down the amplitude of the peaks and valleys, (especially for BarbaraT's sake!) Instability only benefits the day-traders. But one BIG difference between right now and a year ago is that TSIS is in the Black! They are profitable and growing! That's of course, lends itself to a much more solid base being formed. I hope as investors look carefully at the financials coming out they realize that much of the real earnings came later in the quarter, and that a very solid foundation is laid for many more quarters to follow that will have 3 months of profitability in each quarter!

Juanita, your charting skills are something to write home about!

PS- Something else I've looked at is the consistantly higher volume for this stock during the first 5 months of 98 versus the last 5 months of 97. See: tscn.com

Higher volume on an overall uptrend...gotta love it...
