insiders bailing!!!
WASHINGTON, DC, May. 27, 1998 (States) -- Mory Ejabat of Alameda, CA, a
Director,
President and CEO of Ascend Communications, Inc. (SYMBOL: ASND),
disposed of 50,000 shares in 2 transactions for between $40.38 - $42.10 each
between April 16, 1998 and April 17, 1998. Mory Ejabat currently owns 0 shares.
A Form 4 reporting the transaction was filed with the Securities and Exchange
Commission on May 11, 1998. News May 27, 19:50 Eastern Time

We know that as of Feb 28, 1998 Mory Ejabat had 1,523,843 shares according to the DEF 14A filed in Edgar:

sec.gov

Now let's see, selling 50,000 shares gives him how many left?

Please explain yourself. I'm wondering if this is something that should be brought to the attention of SI. What does everyone think?

Mory explained at the annual meeting that insiders have certain windows to sell shares and they do it with the regularity of a Swiss clock. Once you realize this, you can throw away the beta blockers and relax.

tanger1: re: insiders bailing - please support your claims or

admit that it was a bluff. This type of information is damaging and possibly actionable (legally that is) if it is done with the intent to mislead and make some advantage. Also, it really brings SI down to the level of an AOL chat room where people say anything and all you hear is noise.

Anyone else have an opinion on this ?
